New union tees promote passage of PRO Act

RAFFLE WINNERS: When the AFL-CIO sent some of its latest T-shirts to the Southwestern Illinois Central Labor Council, two were offered up for raffle at the Council’s regular meeting Aug. 17 at the Laborers Hall in Belleville. The winners, rocking the pro-union, “Pass the PRO Act” tees, were Alissa Luebers (left), of Ironworkers Local 392, and Mary Laurent, of AFSCME Local 1805.
