Newest Labor Council VP sworn in

TEACHERS LOCAL 420’S NEW PRESIDENT Sally Topping was sworn in as a vice president of the Greater St. Louis Labor Council by Council President Pat White at the Council’s July 17 Executive Board meeting. Topping has been a teacher in the St. Louis public schools for seven years and two years in a charter school, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the District’s educational efforts. She is also a lawyer with 24 years experience in family and real estate law. Her goals: “To fight for what’s right for our members, their families and the children we teach, and to help our union and our Labor Movement grow and fight for what’s right for our members.” – Labor Tribune photo
