Operating Engineers Local 513’s D’Arin Sprayberry elected president of the Rockwood Labor Club

Father was founding vice president of the club

Eureka, MO – D’Arin Sprayberry, Operating Engineers Local 513, has been elected the new president of Rockwood Labor Club, replacing longtime president Marty McClimens, Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 562, who is stepping back from his leadership role. Sprayberry is a 33-year member of Local 513 and a guard with the union. His father, Dee Sprayberry was founding vice president of the Labor Club, along with former president Jeff Aboussie, former international representative for the Operating Engineers and executive secretary-treasurer of the St. Louis Building and Construction Trades Council.

In other leadership posts, Joe Besmer, Sprinkler Fitters Local 268, was elected vice president, and Jim Leonard, Sheet Metal Workers Local 36, is the new secretary-treasurer.

McClimens remains on the Club’s executive board.

The Rockwood Labor Club meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge, 19 West First Street, Eureka, MO 63025.
