Belleville – The 2016 Belleville Labor Day Parade took thousands of union supporters and a great display of the mechanized equipment they use on the job through downtown Belleville on Monday morning, Sept. 5.
The parade was followed by the annual picnic and celebration of the Southwestern Illinois Central Labor Council at Hough Park, where the parade ended.
