Members of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 562 step up for the community throughout the year, coordinating with their signatory contractors to help the needy, retirees and community groups with donated parts and labor. And every Christmas they host a toy drive. This year’s toy drive was really something incredible.
“Each time we do this, there is something a little more special about it,” the union posted on it’s Facebook page. “For one, this time we collected all of this in a little over one week’s time! That is amazing. Our members step up when they are needed the most and these pictures show it.”
In addition to plumbers and pipefitters working on Local 562’s new training center in Earth City, they got together, filled two boxes worth of toys, and helped Business Manager John O’Mara and business for delivery.
