The Greater St. Louis Area Port Council will honor area Labor leaders and a workers’ compensation attorney at its Fifth Annual Golf Tournament and awards dinner Sept. 21, at The Courses at Forest Park.
The golf outing will begin with a four-person scramble shotgun start at noon. The awards dinner will follow the tournament. Proceeds benefit the Council’s PAC fund.
HONOREES
This year’s honorees include:
- Jack Martorelli Labor Man of the Year – Jerry Donovan, business manager, Insulators Local 1.
- Jack Martorelli Co-Labor Man of the Year – John Orr, recently retired Elevator Constructors Local 3 business manager.
- Able Helmsman Award – Workers’ compensation attorney Dan Walkenhorst.
TICKETS AND SPONSORSHIPS
Tickets are $175 per golfer or $700 for a four-person team and include 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch, dinner and an open bar. Hole sponsorship are $150. Premier dinner sponsorships are $50 each.
Contests include Closest to the Pin, Skins at $20 and a 50/50 raffle.
