Roofers Local 2 banners Walgreens at Jeffco and Tenbrook Road

Arnold, MO – Roofers Local 2 is bannering the Walgreens at 776 Jeffco Blvd. for using ARS Construction – a non-union roofing contractor that pays below area standard wages and benefits negotiated by Local 2 – to tear off and replace the roof. Local 2 Business Agent Tommy Hamilton said the quality of the company’s installation of the roof was subpar and that its work on site created an unsafe environment for the store’s workers and customers.
