Save the date: Workers’ Rights Board annual meeting Sept. 26

The 2019 Workers’ Rights Board Annual Meeting will be held on Sept. 26, 2019 at 8 a.m. at Greater St. Mark Family Church in Ferguson.

The keynote speaker will be Richard Rothstein, author of The Color of Law, about legalized segregation in the United States and the resulting wealth gap, especially for black families.

Rothstein is a distinguished fellow of the Economic Policy Institute and senior fellow emeritus at the Thurgood Marshall Institute of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the Haas Institute at the University of California (Berkeley). His case study of the Ferguson/St. Louis area from 2014 is available for download for free at epi.org/publication/making-ferguson.
