South County Labor-endorsed school board candidates for April 5

South County Labor Club is recommending nine school board candidates who have won the endorsement of the St. Louis Labor Council in races for the April 5 election.

 

MEHLVILLE
In the Mehlville School District, the Labor-endorsed candidates are Scott Huegerich, co-founder and managing partner of a small marketing and communications company; and Sarah “Grace” Wright, senior project manager and civil engineer at Great Rivers Greenway.

 

 

LINDBERGH
In the Lindbergh School District, the endorsed candidates are incumbent Board Vice President Jennifer Miller and Julia Voss.

 

 

KIRKWOOD
In the Lindbergh School District, the endorsed candidates are Judy Moticka, vice-chair of the Kirkwood Human Rights Commission; and incumbent board member Mark Boyko, a lawyer whose practice focuses on protecting employee and retiree savings against inappropriate fees and conflicts of interest.

WEBSTER
The endorsed candidates in the Webster Groves School District are Courtney Schaefer, a social worker for Special School District; incumbent Alex Kahn, a manager at Nestle Purina PetCare Co.; and incumbent Allen Todd, director of partnerships and initiatives for Health Literacy Media.
