Sparta, IL – Labor supporters can help their political candidates and fire off a few rounds on Saturday, Sept. 7, at a sporting clays shoot at the World Shooting & Recreational Complex, 1 Main Event Lane in Sparta.
Delegates to the Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council are hosting the event, which will use a five-man team format at a cost of $80 per shooter or $400 per team.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. with the event to start at 9:30 a.m. Each shooter will be supplied with a gun sock and 100 rounds or shells, plus burgers, brats and refreshments.
To sign up a team, list the company or sponsor name, with address and phone number, plus the names of five shooters. Make a check out to the Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council PAC and send it all to the Council at 2A Meadow Heights Professional Park, Collinsville, IL 62234.
For those who cannot attend, sponsorships are available for $150, $250 and $500. Send a check and the name to be placed on the sign to the same address.
