Communications Workers of America Local 6300’s annual golf tournament to benefit The BackStoppers isn’t until May 18, but the Feb. 22 deadline for sponsorships is fast approaching.
The tournament will be held at Old Florissant Golf Course in Florissant, MO.
The BackStoppers provides financial assistance and support to the spouses and dependent children of police officers, firefighters, paramedics and EMTs who have been killed or suffered a catastrophic injury in the line of duty.
“By joining forces, we are certain to make this event a great success for an amazing organization,” said Local 6300 President Mark Johnson.
In addition to the opportunity to compete in the tournament, Local 6300 is offering a unique chance to play a part in the fundraising effort through a Hole Sponsorship, with part of the proceeds donated to The BackStoppers.
SPONSORSHIPS
Three sponsorship levels are available:
• Bronze Sponsorship – For $125, get your organization’s name on a sign on one of the tee boxes on the course.
• Silver Sponsorship – For $250, in addition to signage, you can have members or representative you’re your firm present at select tee boxes for a chance to interact with golfers during the tournament.
• Tournament Sponsorship – For $1,000, get all the benefits of the Bronze and Silver sponsorships, your logo on tournament flyers and the main tournament banner to be displayed at the club house, as well as registration for a foursome to play in the tournament.

All other tax-deductible donations are welcome to to make the tournament a success for The BackStoppers.
