Friends of Alex Boschert, the Gas Workers 11-6 member who, along with fellow union gas worker William Froelich, was shot and killed on the job on April 20, 2017 in St. Louis City’s Hamilton Heights neighborhood are hosting a charitable Sporting Clays Classic in his memory and in honor of his love of the outdoors.
Proceeds will benefit local charities.
The Alex Boschert Memorial Sporting Clay Classic will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, at Blackhawk Shooting Club, 1259 Brevator Road, Old Monroe, MO 63369.
Registration is from 8 a.m. to noon.
Entry fee is $300 for a team of four and includes lunch, dinner and drinks.
Wrist bands for non-shooters are $30.
