St. Louis Laborers’ LEAN-STL peer support specialists honored by PreventEd

St. Louis – Aaron Walsh (left) and James Pursell (second to left), peer recovery support specialists with the St. Louis Laborers’ LEAN-STL program, have received the Pioneer Award from PreventED, an organization that prevents the harms of alcohol and other drugs through education, intervention and advocacy. LEAN, which stands for Laborers Escaping Addiction Now, is a St. Louis-based peer support system and hotline specifically for Laborers.
