STAGEHANDS LOCAL 6 members, joined by members of Decorators and Displaymen Local 39, picket outside Union Station in St. Louis last week to protest Ironman Sound Industries for paying its workers below the area standards negotiated by Local 6. Downtown St. Louis – Stagehands (IATSE) Local 6 walked a picket in front of Union Station in St. Louis Nov. 30 against non-union Ironman Sound Industries for paying its workers below the area standards negotiated by Local 6 for the A-10 Women’s Soccer Championship program.

They were joined by members of Decorators & Displaymen (USW) Local 39.

The picket worked. Before the end of the day, an agreement was reached to hire members of Local 6 for the show and to remove equipment after the show.

Stagehands Local 6’s members provide trained and experienced craftsmen and technicians for the convention, exhibition, event and entertainment industries.
