Steamfitters 439 raise funds for Burn Camp with Night at the Grizzlies

Steamfitters Local 439 held its 13^th annual Night at the Grizzlies fundraising event on a cool but sunny day at GCS Ballpark in Sauget, IL, May 14, with a capacity crowd attending as always.

The union-sponsored event has raised more than $300,000 over the years for the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance Burn Camp for Kids, which relies on donations and needs $2,500 a week for each camper.

Those attending the event were served a pork steak dinner picnic-style alongside the stadium pond. They then enjoyed watching the Grizzlies defeat the Washington Wild Things 10-3.
