Shooters, sponsors needed to make the fundraising event a success

Bridgeton, MO – There’s still time to register for the 2018 Labor/United Way Trap Shoot and Barbecue fundraiser, the kickoff event for the annual Labor/United Way Campaign. Sponsors and shooters are needed to make this event a success.

The trap shoot will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, April 27, at Gateway Gun Club, 13547 Missouri Bottom Road in Bridgeton, MO, testing your skill hitting clay targets while helping support the important work of the United Way.

INVESTING MORE THAN
$1 MILLION IN OUR
COMMUNITIES EACH WEEK

United Way invests more than $1 million each week into our communities by funding 170 agencies helping people in the bi-state area.

Supported by the Greater Madison County Federation of Labor, Greater St. Louis Labor Council, Southwestern Illinois Central Labor Council and St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council, the annual trap shoot and barbecue is a great opportunity to test your skill, blow some clay pigeons out of the sky and enjoy some tasty barbecue all the while benefitting a good cause.

Last year’s trap shoot surpassed its $25,000 fundraising goal, raising $27,166 for United Way program

The United Way works hand-in-hand with Labor organizations in Missouri and Illinois to provide working families with necessities and opportunities.
