Incumbent St. Louis County Executive Sam Page picked up a second major union endorsement for re-election this week: the St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council.
The St. Louis Labor Council endorsed Page two weeks ago.
“The council’s executive board’s unanimous recommendation will go to our council meeting May 4, and it’s a foregone conclusion that our council’s delegates will approve the endorsement,” said John Stiffler, council executive secretary-treasurer.
“County Executive Page has stood up for workers at every turn. He has earned the support of union members everywhere. We’re proud to endorse him for re-election.”
