Striking mine workers run down by scabs

Brookfield, AL – Striking mine workers are getting run down by scabs crossing the United Mine Workers picket line here at Warrior Met Coal. Video provided by the Mine Workers shows two trucks driving toward picketers, hitting one striker and barely missing another. The Mine Workers union says such incidents are becoming commonplace, with three miners barely escaping with their lives in recent incidents. Some 1,100 mine workers are now in their third month on strike at the mine, with over a dozen miners arrested by local law enforcement as they attempt to peacefully walk the picket lines.  – United Mine Workers video screencaps
