St. Louis – Former State Senator Tim Green, director of political and legislative affairs for IBEW Local 1, made a recent stop at Laborers Local 42 in St. Louis to present a slide show and discussion on right-to-work legislation in Missouri, preparing union members across the state for a fight that is already under way at the State Capital. (Local 42 Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer Brandon Flinn is seated at left.) Green, who retired in 2012 due to term limits, was instrumental in stopping right-to-work (for less) laws and other anti-worker legislation during his time in the Legislature.
