Tilesetters Local 18 banners new St. Charles Taco Bell

ST. CHARLES – Tilesetters Local 18 has an active job action against the new Taco Bell at 620 S. Fifth Street here. GC Innovative Construction, the project’s out-of-state general contractor, hired Scissons Tile, an out-of-state, non-union contractor that pays far below the standard wages and benefits established by Local 18, to do the tile work. Taking the message to the public is Local 18 President Mike Weber.
