Lake Saint Louis, MO – A group of UAW Local 2250 members and their families and friends took an icy dip in the frigid waters of Lake St. Louis Feb. 4 as part of the 20th annual Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Missouri. Local 2250 has participated in the event every year since its inception through its Community Service Committee, and this year raised $10,035 for the effort. Overall, This year’s Polar Plunge events brought in over $93,500 for the Special Olympics Missouri, which provides a year-round program of sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. – Screencap courtesy of Yvette Bergeron
