The “Action Team” of United Food & Commercial Workers Local 655 and the UFCW International have joined together once again in the fight against Sickle Cell disease. This dreaded disease can be devastating to one in every 12 African Americans.

Currently, there is no cure for Sickle Cell disease. The only hope is continue research and study.

The UFCW has pledged to raise awareness and support for the much needed funding for research and study through Faces of Our Children, a 501(c)(3) charity.
