Join St. Louis Labor Council President Pat White and other working men and women for a night dedicated to unions at the St Louis FC soccer game on Aug. 4, the Saturday before our big Election Day on Aug. 7 when we will Vote NO on Prop A to defeat “right-to-work.”

A portion of each ticket sold will go to support the Labor Council’s $5 for the Fight fund to help union members and their families in times of financial hardship.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. in Toyota Stadium at World Wide Technology Soccer Park (formally St. Louis Soccer Park) at 1 Soccer Park Rd. in Fenton. St. Louis FC will face off against the Seattle Sounders FC 2.

“Soccer and unions have had a strong bond for many years in St. Louis and we could use the support of our friends in that community on Election Day the following Tuesday,” White said.

A tent will be set up to educate and encourage visitors to get out and Vote NO on Prop A on Aug. 7.

St. Louis FC is sponsored by the Electrical Connection, a partnership of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 1 and the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

SUPPORT THE FIGHT FUND

Tickets for the event are $15, and $3 from each ticket sold will go to support the Fight Fund.

“Saint Louis FC is proud to welcome all members of the St. Louis Labor Council and its affiliates for this special group night fundraiser for a night of fun, pro soccer, and giving back to $5 for the Fight,” said Jeremy Cowen, group ticket sales manager for St. Louis FC.
