Veteran Painters union member, 91, still fighting for workers’ rights

August 7, 2017 by admin in Labor News From Our Region with 0 Comments

South St. Louis County – Bill Styles, 91, a 71-year member of Painters & Allied Trades Local 115, was recently visited at his home by Painters and Allied Trades District Council 58 Political Director Gary Otten, who hand-delivered a copy of the Citizens’ Referendum petition to stop the phony “right-to-work” bill signed by Missouri Governor Eric Greitens by placing the measure on the 2018 ballot for voters, not politicians, to decide. Brother Styles was eager to sign the petition to stop what he knows is an anti-worker, anti-union law. Thanks, Bill, for your continued support of the working men and women of Missouri. – Gary Otten/Painters District Council 58 photo
