Christine Brame, assistant to St. Louis Labor Council President Pat White, is organizing a fundraiser Saturday, Oct. 5 and Sunday, Oct. 6 to benefit the Grafton Residence Emergency Fund for victims of this spring’s flooding.
“On Saturday we will be having a Jon Boat Parade in the morning with other events throughout the day, including a car show and craft fair. Then at 7 p.m. we will have a concert in the park with One More Round, a Johnny Cash tribute band, and they are awesome,” Brame said.
The concert will be held at Mason Hollow Park at Main and Springfield streets in Grafton.
Tickets for the concert at $25 each. Those attending are invited to bring their own chairs, beverages and coolers.
There will be other events on Sunday, including a bag (cornhole) tournament.
All proceeds will go to fund Grafton Residence Relief Fund.
