YOUR LETTERS: Demand our senators act now for relief help

Daily coronavirus cases in the United States are soaring, and millions of Americans are unemployed through no fault of their own.

Voters turned out in record numbers and elected a leader as our next president who will ensure we can make ends meet, tackle this pandemic and care for our families.

But instead of prioritizing the health and well-being of working families, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Republican senators would rather shamelessly ram through President Trump’s federal judicial nominations as quickly as they can.

TELL THE SENATE: RELIEF NOW
The sad truth is that a comprehensive coronavirus economic relief package has been sitting on McConnell’s desk since May. The HEROES Act is a critical piece of legislation designed to save lives and livelihoods.

With each passing day, more and more working people are working without the protections we need and getting sick on the job. We can’t wait for President-elect Joe Biden to be sworn in on Jan. 20 to get what we need most: relief from the coronavirus.

DEMAND ACTION NOW
Tell the Senate: Working people demand coronavirus relief instead of rushing through nominations for federal judges.
