Missouri is one of only 14 states that has not expanded Medicaid and many of our family, friends and neighbors lack access to health care. This not only hurts those who need care, it costs all of us – and right now, that’s more clear than ever.

As COVID-19 cases continue to rise in our state, access to healthcare for everyone is becoming more and more important. Medicaid expansion ensures that access to care is available to those who need it – regardless of whether they work in an office or whether they’re working on the front lines.

I am working to expand Medicaid so that every Missourian has access to the care they need, especially during healthcare emergencies.
