YOUR LETTERS: Trump is working to kill the environment

Now is not the time to give corporations and the federal government a green light to pollute our communities.

The President’s (most recent) Executive Order rolls back critical public health protections while the country continues to reel from the pandemic and is protesting his Administration’s non-existent response to racial injustices plaguing our society.

The increase in pollution, just like with police violence and the COVID-19 pandemic, will hurt Black and Brown communities the most.

As a white man committed to racial and environmental justice, I’m laser-focused on raising the alarm, fighting the president’s actions that endanger Americans, and doing my part to build a broad based coalition to bring progressive change to Washington, D.C. on November 3rd.
