UFCW 655’s Nick Trupiano representing Labor on St. Peters BOA

St. Peters, MO – Nick Trupiano, a 44-year member of UFCW Local 655, took the oath of office last Thursday, April 25, as 4th Ward alderman in the City of St. Peters. Trupiano served 24 years as a member of the Local 655 staff as a union representative, political director and director organizing, giving him a direct and personal understanding of the needs of working families. He has served as a Local 655 delegate to the St. Louis Labor Council. He is also a member of the St. Louis Port Council and Tri-County Labor Legislative Club and previously served on the St. Peters Planning & Zoning Commission and the St. Peters Board of Adjustments. “St Peters is rapidly expanding,” Trupiano said during the campaign. “I will ensure prevailing wages are being paid whenever taxpayer monies are being spent.
