IN MEMORIAM: Laborers Local 110’s Jared C. Young

Jared Christopher Young passed away on May 26, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis following a car accident. He was 20.

Brother Young was born in Crystal City on March 5, 2003. He is survived by his parents Christopher W. and Wendy S. (nee Gardiner) Young, of Hillsboro; brother Jacob “Jake” Young, of Hillsboro, daughter Mallory Baker, grandparents Sandy and Gary Lindsey, of Hillsboro, Mike and Rhonda Gardiner, of Festus, and Donald and Dorothy Young, of Hillsboro; a great grandfather Gene Hon, of Puxico, Mo.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Brother Young worked at the U. S. Silica Sand Plant in Pacific, Mo.
