MOWIT welcomes four new board members

Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) has announced the addition of four new board members.

MOWIT is a non-profit group dedicated to helping women enter and succeed in the local union building trades. The new board members include:

• Maggie Farrell, diversity and human resource manager for Millstone Weber.
• Roy Ross, business representative at Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council.
• Mya White, neighborhood transformation manager at the St. Louis Development Corporation.
• Jayla Williams, carpenter.

Founded in 2008, MOWIT provides tradeswomen with support group meetings, job information and referrals. Support group meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at 6301 Knox Industrial Drive in St. Louis from 4 to 6 p.m.
