Save the date: 6th Annual MOWIT Tradeswomen Awards Gala set for Oct. 4

Mark your calendars! The Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) 6th Annual Blue Collar/Black Tie Tradeswomen’s Awards Gala is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4.

This year’s event will be held at the LIUNA Event Center at 4532 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Sunset Hills. Additional details will be released in upcoming weeks.

Missouri Women in Trades is a non-profit group dedicated to helping women enter and succeed in the union building trades.

Founded in 2008, MOWIT provides tradeswomen with support group meetings, job information and referrals. Support group meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at 6301 Knox Industrial Drive in St. Louis from 4 to 6 p.m.
