Wesley Bell endorsed by Operating Engineers Local 513

International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 513, a key union in Missouri’s construction industry and a representative of over 4,200 skilled trades workers, has endorsed Wesley Bell for Congress in the upcoming election for Missouri’s 1st Congressional District.

As one of the largest construction trades in the Eastern half of Missouri, IUOE Local 513 is committed to promoting policies and candidates that align with the interests of its members, including job security, fair wages, and safe working conditions, the union said.

“I am absolutely honored and excited to receive this endorsement,” said Bell. “Local 513’s commitment to excellence and the training of skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen is unparalleled and I remain dedicated to advocating for policies that support their vital work in Missouri. Bell has also been endorsed by IBEW Local 1, Plumber and Pipefitters Local 562, Laborers Locals 42 and 110, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 655, Iron Workers Local 396, Sheet Metal Workers SMART Local Union No. 36, Insulators Local 1, the National Associations of Letter Carriers Local 343 and Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council, as well as numerous current and former elected officials and community groups.
