Tradeswomen and women considering careers in the construction industry can sharpen their skills and learn new ones at one of Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT) upcoming volunteer workdays.

For each event, MOWIT partners with another 501(c)3 organization to provide quality construction services for free. Women are encouraged to bring PPE and hand tools, if available, and lunch is provided.

“Our workdays stimulate the growth of our volunteers and our community by expanding knowledge and experience,” said MOWIT President Dawn Fleming. “It also gives potential women interested in construction the opportunity to get hands-on experience with different trades as they begin their journey and decide which career path to take.  An added bonus is providing a service to the community to help them revive.”
