Brother Scott, of Washington, Mo., adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchild. He loved going to all sporting events and was a very proud grandpa. His family was his life. He loved them so much. A religious man, Darrell was a member of St. Francis Borgia Church.

He enjoyed bowling in all the area tournaments and was very proud to have won seven Shoot-Out tournaments against who he felt were the best of the best bowlers in the area. Darrell was inducted into the Four Rivers Bowling Hall of Fame and qualified for the U.S. Open in Detroit, Mich.

Darrell loved all things outdoors, crappie fishing at the area lakes and deer and turkey hunting at Wolf Creek, a place he considered his heaven on earth. He got so much joy out of seeing his grandchildren hunt and fish. A lover of travel, Darrell visited several countries and at least 40 states traveling with his wife and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Scott; brother, Doug Scott, and brother-in-law, James Suthoff.

Among his survivors are his wife, Vickie Scott of Washington; mother, Shirley Scott of Mountain View, Mo.; three children, Rocky Winger of Labadie, Mo., Lisa Buhr of Holts Summit, Mo., and Christen Schulte and husband Chris of Washington; siblings, Diane Suthoff of Springfield, Mo., Debra Moore and husband Randy of Mountain View, David Scott of Springfield, Mo., Dewayne Scott of Mountain View, and Denise Countryman and husband Willie of Nixa, Mo.; grandchildren, Anna Winger, Hayden Buhr, Emma Winger, Rachel Buhr, Carter Schulte, Nathan Winger, Jude Buhr, Cullen Schulte, Leo Schulte, Liliana Schulte; great-grandson, Jayce Lamar; God children, Hannah Moore, Justin Scott, and Nicholas Scott; and loved ones and friends.
