Abbott dispatchers represented by Teamsters Local 610 win their first union contract

TEAMSTERS LOCAL 610 members at St. Louis’ Abbott Ambulance overwhelmingly approved their first collective bargaining agreement last week by a vote of 50-2. Dispatchers and call takers of Abbott Ambulance voted overwhelmingly in favor of joining Local 610 in November of last year, seeking an end to favoritism, fair pay, improved benefits, job security and working conditions.
