AFT Local 420 to host public forum on charter schools’ impact on public education

American Federation of Teachers (AFT) St. Louis Local 420 is hosting a public forum on the impact charter schools have on public schools on Wednesday, Jan. 24.

The event, which begins at 5 p.m., will be held at the Emerson Building Theater at Harris Stowe State University at 3036 Laclede Ave. in St. Louis.

Specifically, the forum will identify how public schools are deprived of tax dollars that are being turned over to Charter and other privileged private schools.
