AOH to honor St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council’s John Stiffler

John Stiffler, executive secretary-treasurer of the St. Louis Building & Construction Trades Council, will be honored as a Distinguished Labor Leader at the Ancient Order of Hibernians 22nd Annual “Hoses, Handcuffs and Hard Hats” Judge James Dailey Wahl Memorial gala March 7, at IBEW Local 1 hall, 5850 Elizabeth Ave., St. Louis, Mo. 63110.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) is the oldest and largest Irish Catholic lay organization in America.

Other honorees will include:

  • St. Louis City Fire Fighter Russ Richer
  • St. Louis County Fire Fighter Dave Schmidt
  • St. Louis City Police Officers Tim McDonough and Mitchel Simpher
  • St. Louis County Police Officer Joe Womack
  • Civic Leader Laura Barrett
  • And Grand Marshalls Jim Mohan, Jim Sheerin and Tim Wiese.

DONATIONS AND INFORMATION
The “Hoses, Handcuffs & Hardhats” reception will begin at 6 p.m. A $25 minimum donation includes food, beer, wine, Irish dancers and live entertainment and live Irish music. All proceeds will go to the BackStoppers, $5 for the Fight Fund and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
