Bricklayers Local 1 (BAC-ADC of Eastern Missouri) is hosting a food drive in conjunction with KSHE-95 Real Rock Radio from 2-6 p.m. Friday, April 23, at Maggie O’Brien’s restaurant, 2000 Market St, in downtown St. Louis to help children, working adults, and seniors across the region who have be affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Local 1’s union hall is located on the top floor of the restaurant.
KSHE host Lern will broadcast live from the event to encourage listeners to come down and make a food or cash contribution to go to the St. Louis Area Food Bank.
“Layoffs and job losses caused by the pandemic have hurt people across our region, including members of Labor,” said Mark Savage, recording secretary and field representative for Local 1. “We want to do our part to help, and this will be a fun way to do it.”
