Bricklayers Local 1 banners The Shoppes at Hilltop in Eureka

EUREKA, MO – Bricklayers Local 1 is bannering the new The Shoppes at Hilltop in the 400 block of Meramec Boulevard here behind Culver’s Restaurant to alert the public that Eureka Hilltop, LLC, which owns the development, is using its maintenance staff to lay brick on the weekends and paying them below area standard wages and benefits negotiated by Local 1 to do work. Local 1 Business Agent Johnny Walker II was scheduled to meet with the development’s owner on Tuesday.
