Bricklayers Local 1 and Tile Setters Local 18 Administrative District Council (ADC) officers were joined on Feb. 3 by their late Pension Director Gary Juenger’s family to present scholarship awards to their first group of recipients.
Each applicant submitted an essay along with their application paperwork for the officers to review, and each applicant beautifully described what their parent’s membership in the union has provided their family.
The recipients, congratulated by ADC Director Brian Jennewein and ADC Secretary-Treasurer John Hopkin are (from left in the photo):
- Jayce Poole, son of Journeyman Bricklayer Jeramie Poole.
- MaKenna Clark, daughter of Journeyman Bricklayer Doug Clark.
- Payton Kaikkonen, daughter of Journeyman Bricklayer Tim Kaikkonen.
- Mason and Matthew Lampkin, sons of Journeyman Bricklayer Brett Lampkin.
- Jacob Matschiner, son of Journeyman Bricklayer Chad Matschine.
- Emma Thomas, daughter of Journeyman Bricklayer Jason Thomas.
