Portion of ticket sales to benefit the St. Louis Labor Council’s “$5 For The Fight” fund
The St. Louis Cardinals are inviting all Labor and trade union members, families and supporters to start their Labor Day celebration a day with a Union Appreciation Day on Sunday, Sept. 2, when the Redbirds will take on the Cincinnati Reds starting at 1:15 p.m.
Fans who purchase a special Union Appreciation Day ticket will receive a specially-designed “Cardinals Union Proud” t-shirt.
What’s more, a portion of each theme ticket sold will be donated to the St. Louis Labor Council’s “$5 For The Fight” fund, which supports union members and their families in times of financial hardship. Theme Tickets for Union Day start at just $20.
Fans can purchase tickets for Union Appreciation Day at cardinals.com/union.
Some diehard Cardinals (and union) fans no longer live in St. Louis (but still go to Spring Training). Any way we can buy a t-shirt….PLEASE!!!
Check with Martin Coco with Cardinals Communications at mcoco@cardinals.com. He might be able to hook you up.
