After many years as a Shriner/Mason, he was asked to join the Divan of Ainad Temple, and seven years later was elected Potentate.
Throughout the years, he has worked in many positions with major boilermaker companies. With Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co., Akron, Ohio, he worked in supervisory roles on several major projects and as a safety representative.
