The COVID-19 put a damper on the celebration, but longtime members of Cement Masons Local 527 were recognized recently for their service to the union this month.
“Due to the ongoing pandemic crisis, Cement Masons Local 527 was forced to cancel its December 2020 union meeting, at which time we annually present yearly awards to members for their years of membership with the union,” Business Manager Kurt Dierkes said.
Instead, in keeping with health officials guidance on social distancing, members were mailed their Gold Cards and Pins for their years of membership and service to the union
“Congratulations to the following members who received their awards in the mail for their achievements,” Dierkes said.
