Ceremony and march honor legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

St. Louis – The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Committee led by the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists St. Louis Chapter celebrated the 30^th national observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Jan. 19 with a Civic Ceremony in the rotunda of the Old Courthouse in downtown St. Louis (top photo), followed by a march (bottom photo) from the Old Courthouse to Harris Stowe State University, west of downtown, where an interfaith service was held.
