CLUW to host town hall meeting on labor, women’s issues

CLUW logoThe St. Louis Chapter of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW) will host a town hall meeting for candidates to address labor and women’s issues on July 31.

The event will be held at the CWA 6300 Union Hall, 2258 Grissom Drive, St. Louis, 63146, from 3 to 6 pm. All candidates will be given five minutes to address labor/women’s issues to illustrate their views.

The St. Louis Chapter of CLUW advocates unionization for all who seek it, as well as equal pay and affordable healthcare. The group also supports the prevention of and protection from domestic abuse and sexual harassment in the workplace.

Candidates who wish to participate must contact CLUW by July 10. Union members planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP for the event.
