COVID-19 testing available from Sound Health Services

There are two different types of tests: diagnostic tests and antibody tests. A diagnostic test can show if you have an active coronavirus infection. An antibody test looks for antibodies that are made by your immune system in response to a threat, such as a specific virus.

COVID-19 is caused by a coronavirus called SARS-CoV-2. Older adults and people who have severe underlying medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.
