St. Charles, MO – The Electrical Connection, a partnership between IBEW Local 1 and the St. Louis Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), helped the Orchard Farm High School Eagles kick off the football season by donating a new digital scoreboard before their Sept. 13 home opener.
The scoreboard was installed by Local 1 signatory contractor Schaeffer Electric and the company’s Local 1 electricians. It’s the second time in recent weeks that IBEW/NECA has helped brighten Friday night lights at a local high school. The organization donated another digital scoreboard to Herculaneum High School earlier this month.
“We are well familiar with the high quality electrical service provided by IBEW/NECA to our school district,” said Orchard Farm School District Superintendent Dr. Tom Muzzey. “But the value-added service they deliver is found in the generosity of their community support, such as the donated digital scoreboard.”
Members of the Electrical Connection partnership have proficiently installed a number of electrical improvements to schools in the Orchard Farm School District. In addition to Schaeffer Electric, NECA contractors Warren County Electric, LLC, TSI Global Companies and Camp Electric & Heating Co., Inc. have also provided services to the district.
Members of the Electrical Connection provide safe and reliable electrical construction, maintenance, repair and replacement services across Missouri, the nation and the world. For more information on the Electrical Connection, visit electricalconnection.org or call 314-932-6526.
