Facebook fundraiser established, Aug. 24 benefit planned for IBEW Local 1 brother’s children after wife’s sudden death

TO HELP THE FAMILY, a Facebook fundraiser and a benefit have been set up for IBEW Local 1 Journeyman Robert Grosch following his wife Brittany’s sudden death on Aug. 4. Funds raised will benefit the couple’s two young children, Jaxson, 4, and Madilyn, 2, and help pay for funeral expenses.

Wentzville, MO – A Facebook fundraiser has been established and a Aug. 24 benefit is planned for the children of IBEW Local 1 journeyman Robert Grosch following the sudden death of his wife, Brittany. She was 29.

Brittany Grosch passed away on Aug. 4, 2019, leaving behind two young children, Jaxson, 4, and Madilyn, 2. Friends and family members have created an online fundraising campaign through Facebook to help Brother Grosch secure their future and pay for funeral expenses.

BENEFIT AUG. 24
A celebration of life/benefit has also been scheduled for the Grosch family on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Wente’s Open Wheel Restaurant & Saloon, 18000 Chesterfield Airport Road, in the Chesterfield Valley.

The event, which will be from 6 to 9 p.m., will feature a silent auction, a 50-50 raffle and memorial bracelets. The benefit will take place inside and outdoors, so attendees are urged to dress accordingly.

Ms. Grosch also is survived her parents, Brian Glaze and Teresa (Tom) Balestreri; her in-laws, Jeff Grosch and Jill (Rich) Gouge; her grandparents, Jack (Diane) Cole, Geraldene Roller, and George (Brenda) Glaze, Roger (Barb) Grosch and Judie Giles; her sisters-in-law, Jessica (Colby) Thomas, Michelle (Patrick) Payton, and Clara Gouge; her aunts and uncles, Jeff (Cindy) Cole, Karen (Roger) Boston, Brian (Dawn) Cole, Lori (Les) Neel, Brett (Karen) Glaze, and Donna Drackert; her nephews, Mason and Ryan Thomas and Carson and Cameron Payton; and many cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Ms. Grosch loved her work as a sales agent at Coldwell Banker Gundaker and was named the Lake St. Louis/Wentzville Rookie of the Year in 2016 for the great success she demonstrated in her career. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed NASCAR and always supported her St. Louis Cardinals and Blues. Her creative talents showed through in her passions for photography and crafting. Friends and family will always remember her dazzling personality that made her an incredible people person who treasured the moments she spent entertaining and spending time with the people she loved.

A funeral service was held Aug. 13, 2019, at Baue Funeral & Memorial Center in St. Charles, followed by interment at St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles.
