Missouri Women in Trades (MOWIT), a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding opportunities for women to enter and succeed in apprenticeships and careers in the St. Louis-area building and construction trades, recently welcomed four new executive board members:

  • Meg Burke, of the Keyway Center for Diversion and Reentry.
  • Danyeal Crittenden, of Laborers Local 42.
  • Rebekah Jarchow, of Ironworkers Local 396.
  • Kailyn Jordan, of the Legal Advocate Crime Victim Center.

Founded in 2008, MOWIT provides tradeswomen with support group meetings, job information and referrals. It also maintains a work list as a resource to the construction community. For more information, call 636-926-6948 or visit mowit.org.
